Beninoise cooks poison family just two weeks into employment

A 34-year-old Beninoise man, Victor Hounkpe, who came into Nigeria to serve as a cook in Lagos, has been arrested by the Lagos state police command for drugging his employers just two weeks after her was employed. He did this because he wanted to steal from them.

According to a report by Vanguard, Victor connived with one David Amusu, the former cook of his employers, Omowunmi Fadojutimi and Mr. Nwogu Chinaka to drug them and bring armed robbers into their home to steal. God forbid evil people we bring around us!

Senator denies NASS members will be receiving N8.64bn wardrobe allowance, says its for miscelleanous expenses

A member of the National Assembly, Senator Ajayi Borrofice representing Ondo North has come out to deny reports that the National Assembly Members will be given N8.64bn as wardrobe allowance.

Speaking to ThisDay, Senator Borrofice said the controversial N8.64bn to be released to members of the National Assembly is for miscellaneous or regular expenses such as motor vehicle fueling and maintenance, wardrobe, domestic staff, personal assistant, constituency office, house maintenance, utilities and entertainment, among other perks, for the entire 469 lawmakers in the National Assembly.

Real Madrid's Derik Osede wants to play for Nigeria

Can someone bring him back home? His father is Nigerian and he revealed to BBC Sports why he wants to play for us. The 22year old former Spain youth international defender, who is a regular for Real Madrid's B side, is free to play for Nigeria because he has not yet played for any country's senior national team.
"I have lived in Spain all my life and I am not sure the people in Nigeria are aware that I have Nigerian blood. I crave for something special with Nigeria because it will give me a chance to properly connect with the ancestral home of my father. My father is from Benin City and even though I have never been there I always follow events in Nigeria. Photos: 100 killed by Boko Haram's booby trap in Munguno, Borno

100 people were killed yesterday June 16th after a Boko Haram booby trap exploded in the heart of the Munguno market in Borno. According to KSM news, a Boko Haram member who disguised as a member of the state's JTF Vigilante group carried the booby trap into the market where it detonated and killed several people. According to reports, the Vigilante members had earlier engaged the sect members in a fight where they chased them out of their community.

Tyga and his underage girlfriend Kylie Jenner were pulled over by police as they headed to Disneyland to attend North's birthday on Sunday. According to TMZ, the police stopped Tyga for going 82 on the freeway - that's 17 MPH over the speed limit. Tyga was let off with a warning but got 2 citations - one for tinted windows and the second for driving without plates. Both are fix-it tickets.
