We know that lingerie-inspired ensembles are in fashion, but we reckon Lady Gaga may have taken the trend a bit too literally.
The bonkers star braved temperatures of -5C in New York to step out wearing little more than her undies.
And while that usually means that a celeb is donning a revealing ensemble, on this occasion it is all too true.
Gaga wore a sheer fishnet leotard over a strapless black bra and high-cut undies as she left her recording studio in the Big Apple.
Wearing a giant hat, towering stripper heels and a wispy white wig that nearly reached the ground, the Applause singer exposed every inch of her slender figure as she wore the fetish-themed body stocking out in the freezing night.

The 27-year-old also donned a pair of rounded sunglasses, alien-like bleached eyebrows and ditched the make-up – but she didn't need to worry about her mush when all eyes were on her exposed assets.
In our opinion, if Gaga insisted on wearing a pair of tights over her bod, she should have chosen a slightly more sensible pair of undies – her black briefs were dangerously displaying a bit too much pelvis as she greeted fans.
However, Gaga's idea of adding more material is just boosting the S&M vibe of her outfit.

The singer, real name Stefani Germanotta, left Jimmy Fallon's first Tonight Show looking more dominatrix than fashionista as she accessorised her leotard with a patent leather peplum belt and a stick-on bra.
And the undies she teamed with this particular outfit were so teeny they wouldn't have been out of place in a Miley Cyrus gig.
Let's hope that her bodyguard was equipped with a duvet and a flask of tea – we reckon Gaga may be suffering from a case of the sneezes after her latest sartorial adventure.
