The high-security Castro-Castro prison located in Lima, Peru, held their own version of the World Cup tournament. The inmates took part in the opening ceremony representing different countries at the 2-week football contest.

The aim of the event was reportedly to encourage the prison population, totaling about 300, to do sports.
