5,000 rounds of 12.7 milimetre ammunitions, 2 boxes of .50 inch ammunitions, 1,000 rounds of Light Machine Gun ammunitions and one Rocket Propelled Grenade 7 tube also were among recovered issues.

It would be recalled that the army ambushed the Boko Haram insurgents, who were trying to enter the town of Gombi.

Troops apparently killed scores of Boko Haram members.
Boko Haram sect, who has recently announced the alliance with ISIS, has stricken twice yesterday. At least 34 people were killed in suicide attack on Maiduguri and reportedly 10 residents became victims of terror group near Borno village.
