According to Governor
Okorocha, corrupt leaders will immediately run away from Nigeria the
moment General Muhammadu Buhari of the APC is announced winner of the
presidential election.
The Imo state governor made this prediction at the APC rally held in Amuwo Odofin, Lagos state, on Monday, March 9, 2015.
He also encouraged the Igbos in Lagos to vote massively for the APC governorship candidate in Lagos, Akinwunmi Ambode.
Excerpts from the governor’s speech read: “There is fear in the country. And the fear is that they know that GMB is a good man and he will win. And they know that once INEC announces GMB as the winner of the presidential election, all the bad people who are embezzling the country’s fund will leave the country at night.
Governor Okorocha recently disclosed that no fewer than seven governors from the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), are in secret meetings with the leaders of the APC.
