Moses, Odemwingie, Mikel Still In Contention

The Nigerian football gang in England will not be featuring in the English Premier League this weekend as the FA Cup takes the centrestage across the Queen’s country. And still in contention for the prestigious trophy in a competition which is now in its fourth round are a number of Super Eagles stars with their respective clubsides.

Today, Victor Moses would be looking to get coach Brendan Rodgers nod to start for Liverpool against hosts Bournemouth. The winger who is on loan from Chelsea have struggled recently to impress and a good outing in this tie might boost his confidence.

Embattled Eagles forward, Osaze Odemwingie will be available for selection for struggling Cardiff City on their road trip against Bolton Wanderers. Osaz and his newly promoted side have found the going tough in the EPL of late which has landed them at the bottom of the table.

Tomorrow, it will be the turn of John Mikel Obi who will be looking to start as Chelsea take on Stoke City at the Stamford Bridge. Competition for shirts is getting stronger at Chelsea but Mikel is still getting his fair share of games even if not as a starter in recent times.
