Pastor: TB Joshua Should Not Face Coroner Inquest

A Nigerian pastor based in South Africa, Apostle Paul Akarigbo, has called on the founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, SCOAN, Prophet TB Joshua not to appear before the coroner investigating the collapse of a guest house in his Synagogue Church.

It would be recalled that no fewer than 116 people, including 84 South Africans, died in the tragic incident that happened on 12 September, 2014, at SCOAN premises in Ikotun, Lagos.
TB Joshua has been facing allegations that members of his church thwarted emergency rescue operations the day the guest house collapsed.

As a result, the coroner investigating the guest house collapse had summoned TB Joshua to appear before its panel On 5 November. A request the Synagogue founder turned down.

According to the coroner, Oyetade Komolafe, Joshua may face arrest for dismissing the inquest.
Pastor Akarigbo, who claimed to have been healed of HIV by TB Joshua, has however praised the founder of the Synagogue Church for not appearing before the coroner inquest.


The pastor, who said he flew into Nigeria from South Africa to witness the coroner inquest, informed that there are over a hundred of South Africans who are ready to come to Nigeria to cause chaos if TB Joshua is forced to appear before the coroner inquest.

According to a 3:03 minutes video posted on Youtube, Akarigbo argued that TB Joshua is a good prophet of God who has been healing people across the world. For this reason, according to Akarigbo, TB Joshua is not responsible for the collapse of the guest house.

He claimed the mystery plane that was captured hovering over the guest house prior to its collapse is responsible for the tragic incident.


It would be recalled that inspections have indicated that the collapsed guest house were structurally defective, bearing more than they were designed to.
