Immigration tragedy: Youths protest at interior ministry

Angry youths on Tuesday afternoon marched to the headquarters of the Federal Ministry of Interior in Abuja in protest against the death of 19 applicants during the immigration recruitment exercise.

They demanded to see the Minister of Interior, Abba Moro and also called for his sack.

They splashed red paints at the entrance of the ministry’s building and inscribed "murderers” on the floor.
Moro was however not in the office at the time of the protest which lasted for about 30 minutes.
