Coach Stephen Keshi has admitted that his days as the head
coach of the Nigeria national team, the Super Eagles, may be numbered as
he may leave the team after the 2014 FIFA World Cup holding in Brazil
in June.

The
former New Nigeria Bank and Anderlecht of Belgium star dropped the hint
while answering questions at the Media Launch of the TomTom Go To
Brasil national consumer promo held on Tuesday in Lagos.
When
asked to estimate his chances of staying on with the Eagles, should he
meet the targets set for him by the Nigeria Football Federation, the Big
Boss replied: "It all depends on the new conditions of my employers,
the NFF, put on the table. It depends on what I see after the event,
if the conditions are right, I will continue my job.
"The
end of the World Cup will bring an end to a cycle and both myself and
the NFF will sit down and discuss. I am a professional, and I have a
family to feed so I need to keep working.
"However, if the situation is otherwise, and we don't agree, I may reconsider. I will not take my decision based on sentiments."
It
could be recalled that Keshi was recently courted by the football
authorities in Equatorial Guinea. Reports had it that Keshi was promised
to be paid four times what he presently gets in Nigeria.
