He said the cancellation was to enable the council members attend the three-day prayer for the late Captain Yusuf Sabo Sambo, the younger brother of Vice President Namadi Sambo.

This was contained in statement issued on Tuesday by the secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator Pius Anyim.

It would be recalled that the Vice President's younger brother died in a car crash on Bill Clinton Drive, Airport Road, in Abuja, three days ago.

According to Sani Umar, the special assistant to the vice president, the 58-year-old pilot survived by a wife, three daughters, 10 brothers and sisters.
