She was said to have been kidnapped by her lover who hails from Ekiti State, 9 years ago because he was so in love with her and her family was not in support of the relationship.

The woman and her four children
According to the neighbours, the woman said she had no idea where she was as her lover was the one who went to the market to get food for her and her children very early in the morning, threatening to kill her if she stepped out of the house.
He made sure he locked the door at all times so she had no way of escaping.
Three weeks ago, the lover fell ill and could not go out during that period to get food for the family as usual.
Luck smiled on her and her children as the man forgot to lock the door on his way out.
When she came out, the people in the area who thought she was a mad person started interrogating her.
From her response, the people realized she and her children who were looking so emaciated were mentally sound.
She remembered her sister’s contact and a call was quickly made by one of the sympathizers. In about 30 minutes, the sister arrived at the scene and took her and the children away before her husband came back from the market.
According to eyewitnesses, the woman was not happy with her rescue as she was said to be screaming at the top of her voice: “My husband oh, my husband!” thereby getting her sister angry who shouted back at her; “which yeye husband you dey call?”
