Model Amber Rose and Rap star Wiz Khalifa proved that in spite of their divorce and the drama surrounding it they still feel love for one another.
Wiz got the urge to wish Amber a happy 31st birthday via Twitter on
Tuesday, which obviously touched a soft nerve in the buzz-haired model.
“Happy birthday Amb,” the 27-year-old rapper wrote to the mother of his nearly two-year-old son Sebastian.
“Thank u Sweetheart #StillLoveYouNoMatterWhat,” Amber graciously replied.
The warm exchange must have been welcome after their tumultuous split last month.
Amber filed for divorce on September 22, citing irreconcilable differences and requesting full custody of their only child. They’d only been married 14 months, and dated for two years before saying ‘I do.’
The aftermath of the split has been painful, with Amber tweeting: “The mornings are especially hard. The pain…I wake up every morning feeling like my best friend died…”
Even though she’s been said to have caught the eye of Mariah Carey’s estranged husband Nick Cannon, who is also her manager – ‘it ain’t happening,’ she told People. Amber insisted she’s not ready to date anyone at the moment.
