2015: Vote Buhari And He'll Tame Corruption - Osinbajo

The Vice-Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, has said that if his party is voted into power in 2015, it will not tolerate corruption.

Osinbajo disclosed this yesterday, December 22, during an interactive session on twitter tagged #AskProfOsinbajo.

According to him, the failure of the President Goodluck Jonathan-led administration to tackle corruption is one the fundamental problems bedeviling the nation.
He explained that under Jonathan’s administration, there is no consequence for corruption.

The Vice Presidential candidate added that the Buhari/Osinbajo administration if elected in 2015 will tackle the challenge of unemployment. They would make Nigeria a country where everyone would have a good job and live a descent live in peace and security.

On the issue of Boko Haram, Osinbajo accused the current administration of politicizing insurgency, saying the corruption around defence funds has created a situation where soldiers are not well equipped and motivated.

He stated that the APC is different from the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) as its focus is on policies that will impact the live of the common man.


Muhammadu Buhari is the presidential candidate of the APC in the forthcoming 2015 elections and he will be competing against President Jonathan and other candidates from other parties.
He chose Prof Yemi Osinbajo, a pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) as his running mate. This has triggered  lot of reactions.

Meanwhile, Pastor Tunde Bakare has pledged his utmost loyalty to Buhari, making it known that he knows what he is doing and when he supports someone, he does so fully.
