Police arrest 7 suspected ritualists in Ibadan, Oyo.

Police Arrest At Least 7 Suspects Over Discovery of Skulls, Decomposed Bodies
The Police command of Oyo State has apprehended at least seven suspects in connection with discovery of skulls, decomposed bodies and human bones in an abandoned building at Soka area of Ibadan on March 22, 2014, Saturday.

Two of the suspects were caught in the area, while five security personnel working in a nearby company were detained as well.

One of the rescued victims (in the picture) believed to have been bewitched and bound with fetters in a dungeon, in Soka, Oluyole local government area of Oyo State. The captives which had been rescued from the bush were taken to hospital for treatment, while corpses found were also deposited at the morgue.

The den was discovered after a group of 100 area boys had invaded the Toll gate behind state urban Mass Transit Yard, located at Soka in search of two missing cyclists. The youths discovered an uncompleted building, where at least seven persons were found chained and totally unkempt.

All the suspects would be charged with murder and unlawful possession of fire arms.
Items recovered at the building were three Dane Guns, three single barrel, one bow, 16 arrows, 22 cutlasses, 40 live cartridges, seven table knives, one axe, two iron files and one handset.

The Police command vowed it would take all the necessary steps to bring all the culprits to book, revealed more suspects would be seized soon. They are currently searching for the gang leader who is on the run.

It would be recalled that decomposing bodies, skulls, human parts and some half-dead people, believed to have been hypnotised by the suspected ritualists, were encountered in the bush on March 22, 2014, Saturday.
