Sad news has emerged for rapper Snoop Dogg's family, as his Uncle June Bugg has passed away after battling colon cancer.
TMZ reports that June Bugg died at age 70 on the morning of March 30, and Snoop was actually the last person to see him.
He passed away just after Snoop had stopped by the hospital to visit him, and June Bugg was able to happily acknowledge Snoop before passing. June Bugg was certainly a fighter, holding on for almost a week longer than doctors had predicted.
Another one of his nephews is rapper Daz Dillinger. "rip uncle junebug," Snoop tweeted. "greatest to ever do it !!!
heaven wouldn’t be the same without u!"
Diddy also expressed his condolences on Twitter. "Damn man RIP #uncleJuneBug @snoopdogg out prayers are wit u," Diddy tweeted.
June Bugg — who used to be a backup dancer — appeared on Snoop's E! reality show, Snoop Dogg's Father Hood. He also starred in Snoop's video for "Snoop’s Upside Your Head" and frequently joined Snoop on tour. Our thoughts go out to the family during this very difficult time.
