Clark revealed that Ribadu is known for crying wolf and falsely accusing  governors elected on the platform of the party in the past while serving as the chairman of the EFCC.
He also insisted that Ribadu was the one responsible for impeachment of one unnamed governor of the party in the past.

He said that despite Jonathan saving Ribadu’s face from disgrace by changing his dismissal to retirement as assistant inspector general of police, Ribadu has never showed gratitude to the President.

He warned his party to be careful and not grant Ribadu any waiver, which would enable him contest for the party’s governorship primary of the party in Adamawa State.
Nuhu Ribadu had defected from the All Progressives Congress to the PDP in view to become the governor of Adamawa state following former Governor Nyako’s impeachment by a PDP-led party.
