According to the Lesdership, Oshiomhole made the statement during an inspection of road projects which culminated in a campaign at the Egor market in Upper Siluko area of the state capital.

The governor stressed that the PDP had totally failed with the school certificate lie they tried to pin on the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Muhammadu Buhari.

“I’m happy that you people are following what is happening and one young man said even Buhari doesn’t have a school certificate, if it’s just a NEPA bill he presents as certificate, it’s enough and the people will vote for him.

“Another said the other man has a doctorate in Zoology, but we can’t even get fish on our table. The truth is that everybody is tired.
According to Oshiomhole, the only solution after 16 years of PDP’s lies is to vote for Buhari in the upcoming polls. The governor assured that the APC presidential candidate is the leader with courage because “when he says, ‘I will do’. He will do it.”

Addressing the people at the Egor market, Edo State governor said:
“Today in Edo, they have enriched a few individuals, and they are telling us they are going to bring a lot of money to buy our votes. When they bring the money, collect it. It’s the money they stole from you. But we will not vote for them.”

Continuing his speech, the governor called on the people, who have not collected their Permanent Voter Cards (PVC) to do so by going to the nearest INEC office.

Spokesman of Egor Market, Egbon Edowonyi, also had a chance to express his dissatisfaction with PDP’s administration, The Nation reports.

“When PDP was in power, they could not fix this road. They referred to it as waterside and blamed it on what they called mermaid. But you came; we do not know how you removed the mermaid and got the road fixed.”

Recently, Oshiomhole has also criticized the Federal Government’s employment policy accusing the authorities of deception.
According to him, the government has cheated on unemployed Nigerian youth by fleecing of over N800 million in the name of employment.
