Gbenga Daniel Lambasts Gov. Amosun

The former Governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel has expressed his grief over how his successor, Gov. Ibikunle Amosun has been destroying the economic base of the state, highlighting the effects on the locals.

Complaining about how the State Governor keeps borrowing unnecessarily which puts the state in massive debts in disguise of transformation, PMNews reports that  the former Governor feels so sad at many of the uncoordinated and uncalculated steps of the state Governor as it affects majorly the locals who do not even have an idea of what is going on.

The former Governor who believes the Ibikunle Amosun led administration in Ogun State would have been better if it was built upon the doctrines and ideals of the past administration explained to Labour Party faithfuls during an open summit in Ibiade town of Ogun Waterside local government area of the state.

The former governor revealed to the the faithfuls present at the summit how he had signed a $9billion deal for a Dangote Petrochemical Complex which was proposed to be sited in Ode-Omi area of the LGA before his tenure elapsed but the present administration in the state has frustrated the multinational company and many others to go to other states adding that he wanted these companies to be sited in the state so as to solve the problem of massive unemployment in the state.

However, the the Commissioner for information and Strategy in the state, Alhaji Yusuph Olaniyonu has countered the words of the former governor saying they are all untrue and that it was in a bid for the former governor to gain cheap popularity that he said the things he said.
