Kaduna Blasts: Committee Set Up To Investigate Attack On Buhari, Others

An investigative team has been set up by the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Mohammed Abubakar, to uncover the perpetrators of Wednesday’s twin blast in Kaduna, which had killed scores, left many injured.

A statement on Thursday by the police spokesperson, Frank Mba, revealed that the team of investigators will be headed by Commissioner of Police in charge of Legal Department, Nwodibo Ekechukwu, Premium Times reports.

Other members of the team include, Chris Ezike of the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad, Dan Mallam of the Monitoring Unit and Adeyemi Ogunjemilusi of the Interpol Unit and others. All the officers are Deputy Commissioners of Police, DCPs.
They will be expected to work in collaboration with other security agencies.

Mba explained that security has been tightened in all the states of the federation, particularly in the states perceived to be more vulnerable to terror attacks.
