Graphic photos: Tiv and Fulani crisis still on

The riot between Benue farmers and Fulani Herdsmen in Gassol LGA of Taraba state may seem to have ended but that is really not the case according to indigenes of the area, as farmers who returned back to their settlements didn't live to tell the story.

07-04-2014: Two Fulani Herdsboys, Mohammadu Adele and Ahmadu Tonga were burning Tiv Farmers houses at Bam village of Dinya Area in Gassol L.G.A. the boys were caught by vigilante men of the village and taken to Nigeria Police Station Dinya Town and later taken to Divisional Police Headqaurters, Gassol Town. These herdsboys were finally taken to Nigeria Police Command Headquarters, Jalingo, Taraba State but were released WITHOUT due punishment after a few days.

07-05-2014: (a)      One Mr. Vandefan Chafa of Torto Village of Dinya Area in Gassol   L.G.A was killed by the Fulani Herdsmen.

                       (b)        One Mrs. Shimave Uli of Mtswenem Village of Dinya Area in Gassol L.G.A was killed by the Fulani Herdsmen.

08-05-2014: One Mr. Terzungwe Awua Bo of Dinya Town was killed by the Fulani

 Herdsmen.

09-05-2014: Four People of Dinya Town were killed by the Fulani Herdsmen. They

are:

(a)  Mr. Emmanuel A. Atsua

(b) Mrs. Mbalamen Akor

(c)  Mr. terzungwe Nyakam

(d) Mr. justina Ayila

(e)  Mr. Aor Sen was kidnapped by  the Fulani Herdsmen

(c) One Mrs Elizabeth Lanshima of Anshom village in Yerima ward of

       Gassol L.G.A was machete by Fulani Herdsmen at Anshom Village

     

16-07-2014: One Mr. Bem Ayilaga of Anshom Village in Yerima ward of Gassol

 L.G.A was machete by Fulani Herdsmen at Anshom village.

21-07-2014: One Mr. Saater Tsekena of Anima Village in Yerima ward of Gassol

 L.G.A was killed by Fulani Herdsmen at Anima Village. 

16-06-2014: One Mr. Philip H. Atsember of Marraban Gassol Town, Gassol L.G.A

was killed at Chediya Town by the Fulanis while on his motor-cycle

21-07-2014:(a) One Mr. Sunday Damboi Oriin of Anshom Village in Yerima ward

        of Gassol L.G.A was killed by Fulani Herdsmen at Anshom Village    

(b) One Mrs. Bridget Oriin of Anshom village in yerima ward of Gassol

      L.G.A was Macheted by Fulani Herdsmen at Anshom Village
