WestBromwich Albion’s new record breaking Nigerian signing, Brown Ideye has revealed that he would start to practice with his club after resolving his earlier visa problems.
West Brom had payed around £10 million ($16 million) for the former Dynamo Kiev man but he was unable to stay in England long due to paperwork problems.
Ideye told fans that the issue has now been resolved and he might likely feature in their opener against Sunderland on August 16.
He wrote: “So happy to announce my Visa has been issued. Will join the team ASAP”.
Ideye was not called up to Super Eagles world cup campaign in Brazil despite Big Boss keshi’s lack of finishers in the team.
Ideye is coming from Ukrainian side Dynamo Kyiv, where he scored 33 times in 74 games. The transfer was allegedly worth a club record fee of 10 million pounds and will wear the number 9.
Ideye had played for Ocean Boys, then Fc Sochaux and then was sold to Dynamo Kyiv.
