Messi Fuels Exit Rumour With Social Media Activity

Four Time Ballon D’or winner and Barcelona superstar, Lionel Messi, is set to leave Barcelona during the January or Summer transfer window according to reports from England.

The Daily Mail reports that The 27-year-old missed an open training session attended by thousands of children on Monday and later started following Chelsea on Instagram. Daily Mail also claims he followed Chelsea players Courtious and Felipe Luiz on instagram.

Also Manchester Evening News reported that Manchester City could step up their interest in Lionel Messi after technical director Andoni Zubizarreta was sacked by Barcelona and Carles Puyol resigned in protest.

Any attempt of a Messi move away from Barcelona will not sit well with the fans of the club after the club went the whole of 2014 without a major title honor (since 2008), saw the name of the club dragged in the mud with the investigation of the Neymar transfer which resulted in the resignation of President Sandro Rosell and the tax fraud lawsuit against Lionel Messi.
