Stella Oduah, Andy Uba Fails To Get Anambra Senate Candidacy

Former disgraced Aviation minister, Stella Oduah has been kicked out of the Anambra senatorial candidate list.

Oduah had failed to make the list of People’s Democratic Party senatorial candidates, according to the list released by  Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) yesterday.

Oduah was vying for the Anambra North Senatorial seat, even going ahead to use Pius Anyim, the Secretary to the Federal Government to intimidate INEC to sneak her name into the list.
Her plan failed as INEC yesterday released the name of John Okechuckwu Emeka as the court-ordered candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for the seat.

Also, Obasanjo’s man, former domestic aide, Andy Uba also lost his spot to his younger brother, Chris Uba.

Chris Uba had in 2003 confessed  to have rigged the gubernatorial election in the state, in favour of Chris Ngige.

Andy Uba and Ms. Oduah were chosen by the President to get the senate positions but they failed to win the primaries.
Oduah has been meeting with lawyers and Anyim to get her name back on the INEC list.
