The Chibok School Girls who luckily escaped Boko Haram's den after being kidnapped by the sects in Borno, on April 14 have visited Borno state Governor Shettima.

It was reported on May 29 that the Borno State Commissioner for Education, Musa Kubo revealed that a total of the 30 escaped girls have reunited with their families.

Although the Chief of Defence Staff, Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh on May 26 claimed that the Nigerian military have discovered the location of the missing school girls held by the Boko haram insurgents, the claim which in turn was reported to have angered the Presidency while the United states who are on currently on the rescue mission were also angry with the CDS over his claim.

Meanwhile on May 28, it was reported that President received a new video showing the abducted Chibok girls pleading for their lives while Dr Stephen Davis, the secret negotiator hired by President Jonathan to help with the rescue mission said some of the girls have fallen ill and need medical attention.
