In the Nigerian political scene, anything can happen.

Even a photo as this can be misrepresented or thought to be seen in a negative light.  Yesterday, a particular photo out of all the photos from the album launch of  former president, Olusegun Obasanjo’s book launch, titled ‘My Watch’ went viral and so many people have been talking about it. Various reactions trail this photo as to whether Obasanjo was supposed to be as intimate to  former federal Minister of Solid Minerals and former Federal Minister of Education, Obiageli Ezekwesili.

The former president was pictured bending down at a very close range to Oby Ezekwesili. Although the platonic relationship between the two might not allow anyone suggest any negativity or absurdity to the photo but a lot of people are thinking all is not well about the photo.

According to a facebook handle which advocates for the bringing back of the Chibok Girls, it has this to say about the photo:
Leader Doing Their Rituals.
This is Mrs Oby Ezekwesili the #BringBackOurGirls crusader doing their normal-normal with Letter Writer and former president, Obasanjo at the OBJ’s book launch.
Saint Oby Ezekwesili forgot that she was in public place and a married man. She threw caution to the wind, anyway, we can see her sticking out her finger in excitement, while chemistry last.
What manner of role model will this woman be, to young Nigerian girls that look up to her? – Hope For Nigeria.

However, while many think there is really nothing too alarming about the photo, some are saying the former president posture with Obi Ezekwesili is out-rightly wrong just like Hope for Nigeria has made know. Now, its up to you… The launched book is said to be controversial. Do you think this is just another political agenda to water down the noise about the new book or the position of the two political bigwigs is really compromising??
