Lets Join Hands And Fight Boko Haram - Joke Silva & Nollywood Stars

Legendary actress Joke Silva has today called on all Nigerians from all corners of the world to join and help in the fight against terrorism in the country.

Silva was talking at a Freedom Walk in Lagos organised to find a solution and rescue the abducted secondary school girls in Chibok, Borno on April 14.

She said: “What this is, is a call for each and every single Nigerian to understand that it is not only the leadership that is in-charge of our nation, the followership as well. “A community fails when its members keep quiet in the face of tyranny,“ she stated

Popular comedian AY (Ayo Makun) also attended the event and urged Nigerians to pray for the safety of these abducted girls, He said: “We are here to pray as a nation because what we need is prayers; and it’s something that everybody should be a part of because we need to see our girls; they need to bring back our girls,“.

Nollywood actress Ufoma Ejenobor also was at the event and said: “At this point I’d like to say kudos. I think our military are doing well, I think they are trying, we are just asking that maybe they try a different tactics. “Maybe they do something a little bit more different, it’s become too long, the heart ache is going on for too long and let’s see our children home,“.
