Edo State Receives General Buhari's Team

Edo State receives All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign team with its candidate for February 14 poll General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd).

Gov Oshiomole and the campaign team are waiting to receive GMB.

The Edo State governor Adams Oshiomole with other APC delegates welcomed Buhari at the airport.
Then APC campaign team visited Oba of Benin’s Palace.

While introducing General Buhari and his running mate Pfor. Yemi Osinbajo , Edo governor has said that Osinbajo is bold enough to chop of cancerous toes and face anyone who stops Nigeria’s progress.

He also praises GMB for living a life of discipline and for his integrity.

On his turn Mr.Buhari said that APC first priority is security.

He said: “Our 1st priority is to secure the country. Jobs/Employment: Wherever we go we see faces of young people. Many of them jobless & hopeless.”

“We need to rid Nigeria of unemployment through the proper development of industries like Agriculture, Mining, Textile and more.”

He wrote: ‘‘This is what APC did at their Presidential Campaign Rally in Benin yet they say they want an issue based campaign!! ”.

It should be noted, that the Africa Independent Television (AIT) network on the official website organized an independent poll ahead of the presidential election, in which General Buhari overcame his key opponent – incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan.
