Nigerians living in Washington DC on May 3, 2014, Saturday staged a solidarity rally to protest the abduction of hundreds of GGSS Chibok female students in Borno.
Hundreds of attendees were carrying various placards with such inscriptions as "Bring
Back Our Future", "Nigeria, Hear Your People Crying", "Stop Boko
Haram", "No More Killings", "Enough Is Enough", "Stop Corruption", "Find
#234" and many more.
The protesters heard some testimonies, prayed, sang songs to denounce violence, bring peace and listened to the Nigerian national anthem as a part of the event.
The repeated rally is scheduled for May 6, 2014, Tuesday, 10:00am – 1:00pm, local time, near the Embassy of Nigeria in Washington DC.
