SHOCKER: Princewill Reveals What Amaechi Told Them To Do In 2011

Former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Gubernatorial aspirant in Rivers state, Prince Tonye Princewill has revealed that Governor Rotimi Amaechi campaigned for President Jonathan in 2011.

He also revealed that the feud between the President and the governor started way before the elections and it was caused by the candidate the governor chose to support during the presidential primaries.

Princewill was speaking yesterday with journalists in Port Harcourt announced that that he had supported the former vice president, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as the PDP presidential candidate in 2011, instead of Jonathan.

He said, “I kicked against the candidacy of President Jonathan in 2011 because, I did not believe that he had the qualities I was looking for in a president. But, my brother, Amaechi said no and he voted for Jonathan and the whole of Rivers State voted for Jonathan.

“When the position was taken, I jumped into the plane and went to Dubai, where Atiku was grumbling over the outcome of the PDP primaries. I told Atiku; you have lost, the only thing to do now is to support the president.”

Princewill was the candidate of the AC in the 2007 elction in Rivers and he also said that the election of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum (NGF) was not the cause of the face-off between the President and Amaechi.
