The seven Unijos students who died in the blast
According to report, they were returning from a lecture at old Jos University Teaching Hospital, less than a hundred metres to the scene of the incident, when they were caught up in the explosion.
One of their colleague, identified as Vivian Eke, who escaped by the whiskers, said they finished lecture at about 2.00 p.m and were heading to their hostel when they were caught up in the incident.
It was gathered that they were all final year students of the department.
Three out of the seven deceased students
Their remains were identified by fellow students, while four of them had equally been identified by their relatives.
The death toll from the twin bomb blast has continued to rise. Latest report puts the number of casualties at 200 while report by the National Emergency Management Agency North Central Coordinator, Abdusalam Abubakar had yesterday said that the number of casualties was 118.
