Super Eagles midfielder Ogenyi Onazi responded to the
allegations that he is linked with a potential match-fixer Henry
Chukwuma Okoroji, with a series of tweets.
Agent Okoroji, who boasted to the undercover reporter how he could arrange the needed outcomes for the 2014 FIFA World Cup, was said to have contacted Onazi to fix some games at the upcoming tournament.
Speaking with the reporter, Okoroji revealed the list of prices he would have to pay for different outcomes, including a red card. For credicility purposes the businessman also invited Onazi to the meeting, however there was nothing indicating that Lazio player was involved in match-fixing.
The famous footballer took to Twitter to shed light on the story claiming he had never been and would never be part of such plots.
