CAN Bribery: Pastor Invited For Interrogation By DSS
Musa Dikwa

The scandal broke when pastor Kallamu Musa Dikwa insisted that some of his colleagues of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) collected N7bn to act against the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.).

His words did not go unnoticed. Daily Post reports that on the morning of Tuesday, March 3, it received a text message from Pastor Dikwa:
“I have just been invited by the DSS. On my way to Abuja.”

Pastor Dikwa had previously provided the detailed scheme of the purported money distribution:
“It was N7bn that was given to the CAN leadership by President Goodluck Jonathan. They (CAN) later disbursed N3m to the State Chairmen of the CAN. The money was handed over to the CAN Leadership on 26th January, 2015.”

Rivers state governor, Rotimi Amaechi, posed a similar allegation saying however that the unnamed leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) paid N6bn so that Christian clerics would campaign against the APC and Buhari.
