Mad Woman With Dead Baby Mobbed In Ogun State

An allegedly mad woman was almost lynched to death by a furious mob when she was found with the corpse of a new born baby in her hands.

Mentally challenged woman was playing with the dead baby at a refuse dump.

The horrible accident happened at Ago Igbala in the Ibafo area of Ogun State on February 26, 2015, Punch reports.

According to eyewitnesses, the mentally challenged woman is generally known as Tope. She was playing with the dead baby at a refuse dump in the area, when a passerby saw her and raised the alarm.


When a crowd gathered near to see what had happened, Tope was said to have taken to her heels and was chased down by the mob which was going to lynch her.

Fortunately, the woman was saved from inevitable death by men of the Ibafo police state. They were alerted and quickly went to the area to rescue her from the angry crowd.


One more shocking incident has recently happened in Ogun state when a young woman gave birth to a baby boy who had no arms.
