Rochas Okorocha: A Man Of God In Government House

Imo state governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, is not your everyday politician. He is one Nigerian governor that was very popular even before he assumed office.

Okorocha’s giant strides in the educational sector all over Nigeria are well-documented. Almost 10 years ago, he founded his non-governmental organisation (NGO) named “Rochas Foundation,” to give hope to less privileged children through quality education.
But some people have gone to town with different stories to discredit the amiable and hard-working governor just for political reasons.
They started by spreading rumours about the governor being an Alhaji.  There is nothing bad in being an Alhaji, but for propagandists to embark on massive misinformation and brainwashing of Nigerians and Imolites in particular that he is an Alhaji when he is not, is in bad taste.
Some even went to town about Okorocha paying some Imo state natives N5million to convert to Islam.
They would also confirm to you that Okorocha begins and ends his day with God; he even has a mini chapel in his home.

Now here are some recent exclusive photos of the governor reading his bible and even preaching/leading prayers:

Meanwhile, a recent report suggests that the Peoples Democratic Party has already mapped out strategies aimed at ensuring that the election is not held at the re-scheduled date.
