Ambode Campaigns In Iyana Ejigbo

Despite the postponement of the elections by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State has soldiered on with its campaign across the length and breadth of the mega city.

The APC campaign train has been visiting various local governments in the city canvassing for votes from the electorates.

Led by incumbent governor, Babatunde Fashola, the party has been touring the state, selling the candidacy of the former accountant-general of Lagos, Akinwunmi Ambode, who is the APC gubernatorial candidate for Lagos State.

Yesterday, Fashola led the APC team to  Oshodi Isolo Mini Stadium, Iyana Ejigbo, for another round of campaigning. The stadium, which was filled to the brim, witnessed a large turn-out of the party faithful and residents alike who came to catch a glimpse of Ambode and listen to his campaign promises. See below:

In a related development, Ambode and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial candidate in Lagos State, Jimi Agbaje, yesterday signed a peace pact with a promise to ensure violence-free polls in Lagos State.
