Multi-talented kids of popular U.S actor Will Smith, Jaden and Willow Smith are not fans of school. Newyork Times T magazine reports.
Although, Jaden and Willow were once students of a private school founded by their parents that adhered to an unorthodox teaching method created by L. Ron Hubbard, the founder of Scientology, until the school shut down in 2013, according to ABC News. They seem to be happy that they are no more students of the school.
According to Jaden, “School is not authentic because it ends. It’s not true, it’s not real. Our learning will never end. The school that we go to every single morning, we will continue to go to.”
Willow’s recounted her experience is school by saying, “I went to school for one year. It was the best experience but the worst experience. The best experience because I was, like, Oh, now I know why kids are so depressed. But it was the worst experience because I was depressed”
According to Wikipedia “Homeschooling in the United States constitutes the education for about 3.4% of U.S. students (around 2 million students) and is a subject of legal debate, not about the right to home school but about the amount of state regulation and help that can or should be expected.”
