Kano People Vowed To Guard Emir Sanusi From Boko Haram

Kano people have given a word to protect Emir Sanusi by all means as they believe His Eminence may be threatened by Boko Haram insurgents for his recent comments.

During Friday prayers at the central mosque the Emir of Kano encouraged the people to defend themselves, their houses and families from Boko Haram terrorists till the last breath in order to bring in peace and sustainability to the country.

His passionate words seemed to stir up people’s bravery, as most of them, especially young people and those possessing fighting experience, were found taking up arms in order to protect their relatives and Emir Sanusi against Boko Haram attacks.


It is a good sign indicating that Sanusi’s words have reached the hearts of Nigerians, for soon there won’t be anyone doubting the need for combating insurgents and protecting themselves and the families.

Emir’s appeal has been widely accepted throughout Nigeria, especially by the people from the South of the country, with some of them swearing to guard the Emir of Kano from the Boko Haram sect till death.
