Tambuwal Drops His Presidential Bid

On Monday, obvious signals indicated that Hon. Aminu Tambuwal who is the Speaker of the House of Representatives may withdraw presidential bid to run for Sokoto Governorship, Vanguard informed.

And today according to Leadership, Tambuwal finally settles for Sokoto governorship and he will soon declare his intention to join the Sokoto State governorship race on the platform of the All Progressives Congress.

It should be noted that last week some members of the House from the All Progressive Congress persuading Tambuwal to run for the office, purchased the presidential nomination form for him.


On Friday the Speaker told journalists that he had accepted the challenge but would continue to consult on the matter recapitulated Monday night.
