Vice President's Wife Loses Relations In Kano Mosque Attack

The wife of Vice President Namadi Sambo, Amina, is one of the grieving as an outcome of the multiple bomb blasts that rocked the Kano Central Mosque, November, 28.

The President’s wife, Mrs. Patience Jonathan, on Sunday led companions of some top administration officials to pay a condolence visit on Mrs. Sambo, who hails from Kano, and have lost an undisclosed number of relations and friends to the incident.


Over 200 people were feared killed in Kano, the biggest city in the mainly Muslim north of the country, during a multiple bomb blast that rocked the central mosque during Friday prayer.
