The Stoke keeper had injured his toe when he stubbed it and a nail ripped out.
He had missed the game against West Brom but is optimistic he will make the World Cup injury free.
He said: “I will be there and the doctor can then determine whether I can join in the first days of training. Then we will know more.
“For a couple of days I had a problem with the big toe on the left foot, but it’s not a big deal. “The doctors decided I shouldn’t play against West Brom and to rest for about seven days.”
“ This is a great trophy, I ‘m really happy. I want to sincerely thank all those who helped me to win . And it starts with my coach RenĂ© Girard and the entire support staff, my teammates and the fans. Without them, it would not have been possible.’’
