The governor condemned Jos Terminus Market, hospital area bombings, ordered security services to investigate the matter, arrest and punish those responsible.

Jang has reassured that both the State Government and the Federal Government would assess the situation, take the appropriate measures to liquidate the consequences of the bomb blast.

The troubled city of Jos was relatively calm and free of terrorist attacks in the past two years. Experts fear that the twin explosions may give a brand new start for religious clashes between Christian and Muslim population.

For this reason, multiple local and national leaders appealed the residents of the state to remain calm.
