Well that song led to more promoters and labels investing more in music and that led to better quality of music from the nation, now making Nigeria the leader in African Music.

As D1 is heading to another part of his life, popular Tv Station owner and major stakeholder in the nation and his former  boss Chief Raymond Dokpesi has blessed him as he aims to battle for a seat in the Ogun State House of Assembly in next year’s general election

Dopkesi blesses Dayo D1

Dayo Adeneye attended the Catholic Primary School in Surulere, Lagos, the Federal School of Arts and Science in Victoria Island.

Thereafter he proceeded to Southern University, Illinois in the United States.
He had his first degree in Business Administration and a masters degree in Mass Communication.
